History of the company

I.B.C. - International and domestic Insurance Agency and Consulting Ltd - was established in 1990 by a group of Marine Insurance specialists to offer the Slovene transport industry a comprehensive insurance facility and to provide professional and efficient Risk Management and Insurance Service to Slovene and International Industrial and Commercial community.

In the year 2000 IBC Ltd. has been divided in two independent companies, i.e. IBC Ltd. Koper which remains insurance Broker and IBC & CO. Ltd. which continued with surveying, loss adjusting and consulting activities.

IBC & CO. is an independent company supported by partners who specialize in Cargo & Hull Surveying, Claims Adjusting, Quality and Quantity Control of goods in transport, as well as in Transport & Cargo Insurance.

24 hour Surveying services are provided by IBC & CO , Maritime Surveyors, Loss Adjusters and Consultants, Ltd with a dedicated staff experienced in all types of marine surveying.

In addition the Company is backed up by a team of specialists in the Transport Insurance Industry dedicated to giving professional advice and support on documents, for example, Bills of Lading, Charter Party and Trading Conditions.
